An experienced financial industry professional based in New York City, Timothy Maleck has worked as a controller since 2018. His responsibilities include oversight of financial reporting documents, including financial statements, performance metrics, investor statements, and requests. Timothy Maleck, or Tim, also performs analysis for internal financial planning and accounting requests, among other duties.
Previously, Tim Maleck spent three years as a financial associate for a major international alternative asset manager headquartered in New York City. His work in this position included comprehensive financial analysis for deal-team requests and profit-and-loss statements for investors.
Tim Maleck earned a master of science in accounting from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He was a dean’s list student and recipient of the John G. and Elizabeth Gibbons Family Scholarship, as well as a member of Beta Alpha Si, an accounting and finance honor society. In addition to his academic achievements, he competed on the university’s nationally ranked rugby team. He is also a registered certified public accountant in New York State.
